Owl's Head Names New President

Owl’s Head Alloys, an industry leader in the secondary aluminum business, announces Michael J. Boyle will join the Company as President effective February 2, 2020. Current President, David Bradford, will become Chair of the Board as he steps back from the day-to-day management of the company.

 

“Owl’s Head looks forward to the leadership that Michael will bring,” Bradford stated, “as well as his extensive knowledge of the aluminum markets which he has been active in for nearly 30 years.”

 

Boyle most recently led the scrap purchasing and supply chain for Alcoa’s Rolled Products division. His career has included work in primary smelting, billet and slab casting, rolling, extrusions and trading. Boyle commented, “I look forward to joining the company and leadership team at Owl’s Head Alloys because of the foundation of integrity as well as the potential for exponential business growth.”

 

This transition follows Owl’s Head Alloy’s successful transition to a 100% Employee Owned Company (ESOP) in June 2019.
